About me

The multi-BAFTA winning BBC writer has spent more than four decades as one of the most successful contributors to the British comedy scene. First as a stand-up, when he started the Comedy Store Players with Mike Myers and Paul Merton. Then as a writer on top BBC shows including Have I Got News For You, Spitting Image and Not Going Out, later as the main lyricist for the smash-hit show and movie Horrible Histories.
